Support the Critical Languages Program

Founded in 1988, The University of Arizona Critical Languages Program has grown from four Hungarian students in one class to over 200 students enrolled in 12 languages.

CLP is committed to giving students unique skills and opportunities. Help us continue by giving online.

How can CLP utilize your support?

  • Scholarships We continue to make scholarships available to select number of students each semester.
  • Improving Facilities In the last year, we have worked in one way or another to upgrade something in every one of our classrooms from carpeting, the paint, to the chairs our students sit on.
  • Keeping Up with Technology Your donations will help us to upgrade our classrooms, expand our technology capabilities, and expand offerings to outside students.
  • Materials Development In the age of AI, we are turnings towards new initiatives to generate teaching materials for our languages.  We are continually working to expand available materials for less commonly taught languages--particularly for student self-study.
