Beta Testing MaxBrowser™ 3

You can use MaxBrowser to interact with the language instruction lessons created with MaxAuthor.  MaxBrowser3 requires Windows 2000/XP/Vista, 1024x768 screen resolution.  You can also use it with the University of Arizona 's Critical Languages Series CD-ROMs.  MaxBrowser is free for non-commercial use. For lessons you have created with MaxAuthor

When you install MaxBrowser3, the installer can optionally place a shortcut to MaxBrowser on your desktop.  Double click on this shortcut and select File…Open.  Select a MAX file.  You can also customize the shortcut so it automatically starts a particular lesson by right clicking on the shortcut.

To use MaxBrowser3 with a Critical Languages CD-ROM

Start MaxBrowser, select File…Open from the main menu, and select the file welcome.max on the CD-ROM.  This will bring up the welcome page for the CD-ROM.  You can customize the MaxBrowser shortcut on your desktop so it automatically starts with this file.
