How to upgrade to the latest version of MaxBrowser

Recommended for users of Windows Vista

If you are having trouble installing or using your CLS CD-ROM software in Windows Vista, you may need to download a newer version of MaxBrowser. Please follow the steps listed below.

  1. Right-click on the following link: Download MaxBrowser and click on "Save Target As..." or "Save Link As..." and save the file to your computer.
  2. Ensure you are logged in as an Administrator. Run the downloaded file to install MaxBrowser. When you are asked if you want to create a desktop shortcut, choose "Yes".
  3. There should be a new shortcut on your desktop labeled "MaxBrowser3".
  4. Start MaxBrowser, select File...Open from the main menu, and select the file welcome.max on the CD-ROM.

You can customize the MaxBrowser shortcut on your desktop so it automatically starts with this file.
